It sends your screenshots to the Screenshots folder on your PC. To find your Screenshot folder, go to C > Users > user name > Pictures > Screenshots. All your screenshots are saved in a single file.

 Win + Shift + S 

Another major command that is used for taking screenshots in laptops is the Win + Shift + S command. It helps to take a screenshot using the built-in Snip & Sketch tool.

As you take the screenshots, the screen gets dimmed. It provides you an option to choose four choices on a small toolbar.

The four choices that you can see are FreeForm, Window Snip, Fullscreen Snip, and Rectangular. You can choose the options based on your demand. This tool does not save the captures to an image folder. However, the image gets sent to the clipboard.

Win + G 

The Win + G option opens the game bar. You should first click on the Capture button in the Game bar and then click on the camera icon.

Then, this tool will allow you to save an image to the Captures by default location. To find the Captures by default, go to the C: Users > User name > Videos > Captures by default. You will get the screenshot that you want.

 Win + Alt + Print Screen 

Another popular command to take a screenshot in the laptop is the Win + Alt + Print Screen command. The command captures the entire screen.

With this command. You can save an image to the Captures by default file. To find the Captures by default file, go to C: Users > User name > Videos > Captures by default.

  1. Through Paint 

For the purpose of taking a screenshot on your laptop, you can use tha paint app too. It helps the users to save the screenshot in local life. The saved screenshots can be viewed as an image in the Photos app too.

Also, you can use the attached screenshot to upload it in the cloud, or to attach it in an email. As you take a screenshot on your PC, you can use the Paint or Paint 3D app to edit the screenshot.

All you need to do is go to the Paint program from the Start Menu. As you open the Paint app, you can edit your screenshot. Also, you can open the paint app when you right-click on an image.

The pop-up menu appears, and you can hover your mouse pointer to the Open With option. You can then see the options listed in the menu.
